“After the 2006 Supercoppa, Totti decided to become the central striker,” Mido told On Sport.

“[Agent Mino] Raiola advised me to stay at Roma, but I told him no. I could compete with anyone in the world, except Totti.

“So that’s why I went to Tottenham.”
