Fabrizio Miccoli will remain at Palermo for the 2011-12 campaign, President Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed.

"He still has two years left to run on his contract and therefore he will continue here," the Rosanero chief noted.

"I'll need to meet with him or give him a call to make sure everything is sorted out, but there won't be any problems."

While Miccoli looks set to stay, Zamparini insisted that he won't be partnered in attack by Amauri next season.

While Miccoli looks set to stay, Zamparini insisted that he won't be partnered in attack by Amauri next season.

"All I can offer Amauri is €1m a campaign, but he earns €3.8m right now," Zampa added. "How can he possibly arrive?"

The big Brazilian, who has a Palermo past, is expected to be sold by Juventus as he has just 12 months left on his Turin contract.

The President also confirmed that he could sell Mattia Cassani to Lazio ahead of the new term.

"If Lazio President Claudio Lotito is talking about him then it must mean that he likes him," added Zamparini.

"But he has to talk to me first. I could decide to sell."
