Alexander Merkel is still struggling to come to terms with Genoa’s defeat to Milan on Saturday night.

The Rossoneri, the midfielder’s former club, won the game 1-0 but the German insists it was an undeserved victory.

“There is an infinite anger that we lost that match,” the 20-year-old stated. “It was an unjust defeat for us and we certainly deserved more than that…”
