The  Portuguese striker joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2019 for €120m, but his future in Turin will be discussed after the Old Lady’s Champions League exit.

According to El Chiringuito, in Spain, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes contacted Real Madrid to discuss a possible return of CR7 to Real Madrid.

“It was an informal chat and Mendes always chats with Real Madrid’s executives,” Josep Pedrerol said.

“Mendes spoke about Ronaldo with Real Madrid, I don’t know if Cristiano is aware of that, but there have been talks.”

Ronaldo’s €30m-a-year contract with the Old Lady expires in June 2022 and Juventus can sell him for €29m.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane refused to comment on the possible return today and said he must 'respect' that the player is currently at Juventus.
