According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Donnarumma was the best player on the pitch at the San Siro on Sunday. “He pulled out two vital saves on [Dusan] Vlahovic and [Franck] Ribery,” writes the paper that rates the 21-year-old 7,5. Cesare Prandelli did also praise him after the game.

Alessio Romagnoli opened the account against La Viola and he is the Corriere dello Sport’s MVP. “He scores and celebrates with a controversial gesture. He returns to his standards.”
As per Tuttosport, Hakan Calhanoglu was the best player on the pitch. “He looks relax. Apparently he is not under pressure for his contract, on the contrary he seems free. He hits the woodwork after a nice personal action.”
Fiorentina’s best player was their goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski who saved the second penalty of Franck Kessie. All the others, from José Maria Callejon to Franck Ribery have ratings below the passing grade.
