Stephane Mbia hints he could return to Europe with Roma due to his good relationship with Monchi – “we talk from time to time”.
The defensive midfielder signed for Hebei China Fortune in January 2016, but appears to be considering a return to European football.
“Would I go back to Marseille?” Mbia considered, speaking to La Provence.
“Of course! I have a year and a half left on my contract, the clubs have to see between them.

“I also won’t hide from you that I have a very good relationship with my ex-sporting director from Sevilla, Monchi, who has signed for Roma.
“We talk from time to time… The Italian League isn’t bad either, but Marseille is home.
“It’s special here, I got married here and my daughter was born here. I didn’t like how I left, to Queens Park Rangers, when I wanted to stay a year longer.
“The club had to sell though, but it’s different today.”
