The Partenopei were flying high in second place when held to a home draw by Fiorentina last week and are now expected to pick up points at Bari's Stadio San Nicola.

“I think that this season the general standard is quite high in Serie A,” commented the Coach.

“My Napoli's objective is to not get big-headed and try not to have vertigo near the top of the table, but I'm certain we're not suffering from that.

“We are aware that sooner or later the quality of the squads will probably shine through but, like Palermo and Lazio, we can hope that we'll cause an upset.”

Bari are bottom of the table, but gave Juventus a hard time in their 2-1 defeat in Turin.

“They certainly deserved a draw from that game and the squad is much better than their position in the standings would suggest.

“In order to beat them, we must be motivated and not take this match for granted. Marek Hamsik returns from his ban and is crucial for us.

“Andrea Dossena skipped the last training session, so I'll make a last-minute decision on whether he's fit to play.”
