“I am not the one who should reflect on the situation. The referees should reflect and pay the fines instead of me,” said Mazzarri in his Press conference.

“I have been in this profession for 15 years and often find myself dealing with referees who are still teething and think they know everything, so are forced to make difficult decisions they are not accustomed to making.

“At times they send you off without any reason, then I have to pay the fines or get suspended.”

Napoli will try to keep touch with Serie A leaders Juventus when they host Torino on in Naples on Sunday. The Napoli vs Torino live stream begins at 7.30pm in the UK and Ireland and is available to watch on Premier Sports 2 on TV and live stream. Click here for more!

Mazzarri’s Torino are up against his old club Napoli on Sunday evening and hope Andrea Belotti can break the two-month goal drought.

“It’s not a lucky time for him at the moment, but he was one of our best performers against Udinese. The important thing is that the team wins and he is in good shape.

“We mustn’t make the same mistakes we did against Udinese, as Napoli won’t let us off the hook. They are deadly on the counter-attack with players like Jose Callejon, Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens. We need the perfect match.”

However, with Koffi Ndidji out injured, Mazzarri hinted at some radical changes.

“Watch out, there will be many surprises in the line-up.”
