Torino Coach Walter Mazzarri’s touchline ban has been reduced to one game, so he’ll be in the dugout for the Derby della Mole with Juventus.

The tactician was sent to the stands near the end of the weekend draw with Sampdoria, copping a two-match ban from the Lega Serie A.

The disciplinary panel also fined him €5,000, finding that he had used “seriously offensive” language toward the fourth official, as well as addressing a “seriously insulting expression” to Gianluca Rocchi when he sent him off.

That would have seen him banned for the Turin derby, but the Granata appealed the verdict to the FIGC.

Today the Federation has announced that it has “partially accepted” the appeal, reducing the ban to one game but confirming the fine and the one-match ban.
