The striker will not remain in Catania after his six-month loan spell at Milan expired with the Rossoneri unwilling to make the move permanent.

“Do Parma and Napoli want me? That’s pleasing to know, but for now there is nothing concrete. I have not received any proposals,” the Argentine told Sky Sport Italia.

“I would like to stay in Serie A, as I am very happy in Italy. If the situation arises, then I’ll also evaluate any overseas offers.

“It’s a shame Milan did not take up their option, as I did my best. I spoke to Adriano Galliani before the holidays and he was very clear. He said if there were any sales in attack, then I would remain a Milan player.

“I’d be happy if they did still change their minds, otherwise I’ll put myself back in the game elsewhere. I am waiting for news from my agent, who is evaluating some leads.”
