Juventus and France midfielder Blaise Matuidi says he will retire from international football after Euro 2020.

Matuidi helped France win the World Cup over the summer, and some outlets suggested the 31-year-old was ready to bow out on a high.

“I asked myself the question of retiring now, after a great victory like the World Cup,” he told RMC Sport.

“However, I’m ambitious and I’m sure that with this group, we can win the European Championship.
