The Bianconeri general manager is in Monte Carlo for the Champions League draw, and has given interviews to Sky and Premium Sport.

The transfer chief has also spoken to Tuttomercatoweb this evening, and despite the words of Paris Saint-Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, he’s keen to bring Matuidi to Turin.

“We’re looking for a midfielder,” Marotta reiterated.

“Matuidi is a player whose qualities could be perfect for our needs, but at the moment he’s a Paris Saint-Germain player.

“Zaza, as you know, could go to West Ham and we’re not hiding that. We’ll see.

"So we’re not just here for the draw? That’s mainly what we’re here for, but when you meet friends and directors from other teams sometimes you can also talk about the transfer market.”
