The midfielder went off with a thigh injury against Sassuolo on Sunday, and though he had scans yesterday to confirm a flexor tear, the Bianconeri have not yet announced a recovery time.

However, Premium Sport is reporting that the Frenchman will be out for 30-40 days, meaning he’ll miss Fiorentina away on Friday, as well as Spurs in the Champions League on Tuesday and the Derby della Mole with Torino.

The Champions League return leg against Spurs is on March 7, and Juve hope to have Matuidi back for Wembley.

Juan Cuadrado is already out of the first leg against the English side, while Paulo Dybala is in doubt.
