Bologna are reportedly set to complete the signing of Atalanta full-back Federico Mattiello.
According to CalcioNews24, Mattiello underwent a medical with Bologna on Thursday ahead of joining on loan with an option to buy, which will come into force once he has made a certain number of appearances.
The 23-year-old broke his leg while playing for Juventus in February 2015 but finally put the injury behind him last season, turning out 31 times for SPAL to help them preserve their Serie A status.
