Bologna defender Federico Mattiello will be out of action for approximately two to three weeks after an injury in training.
The 23-year-old sustained a Grade I thigh strain in his left leg during yesterday’s training session.
Tests today confirmed that he’ll be side-lined for approximately two to three weeks.
Mattiello has made a strong contribution to the season so far, playing in eight games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, in which he contributed one goal and two assists.
