“Right now I am focused only on the present and doing well with the shirt of Genoa,” Matri has told Il Secolo XIX

“Then we will see what fate has in store for me. Meanwhile, I enjoy the enthusiasm that is around us, the many fans of Genoa, they are always very warm.”

“I want to do well and re-launch myself without thinking of the past or the future.

“The fans have been fabulous, they always provide the right charge and are very welcoming.

“Our objective is survival, then once that is achieved we can look forward to other targets.
