Former wonderkid Hachim Mastour is back in Milan for injury treatment but has reportedly reached breaking point with Greek side PAS Lamia.

Lamia claimed Mastour had ‘disappeared’ after he had gone over two months without making an appearance for the club, who are ninth in the Greek top tier.

However, his camp – led by Mino Raiola – told Gazzetta dello Sport that the 20-year-old had spent the past month in Milan recovering from a thigh injury.

However, his camp – led by Mino Raiola – told Gazzetta dello Sport that the 20-year-old had spent the past month in Milan recovering from a thigh injury.

Nonetheless, the newspaper claims the attacking midfielder went back to Italy without permission and ‘looks to have reached the point of no return’ with Lamia, whom he only joined last September.

Mastour was considered one of the most promising young talents in world football when he signed for Milan in 2012.

However, he failed to make any first-team appearances for the Rossoneri, while loan spells at Malaga and Zwolle were similarly unsuccessful.

Diavolo boss Gennaro Gattuso also jokingly threatened to ‘knock his teeth out’ after videos of his dribbles and tricks went viral.
