“We expected some difficulties in the early stages and are working hard to overcome them. We saw improvements on Thursday, so while the result didn’t arrive, it was a convincing performance,” director of sport Massara told Sky Sport Italia.
“The concepts the Coach is trying to pass on do seem to be getting assimilated into the team now and we hope it can only continue to improve.
“We have faith in the Coach and believe we have the squad in place to do well this season.”
