Watford full-back Adam Masina has admitted that he ‘dreams’ of returning to Bologna and captaining the club.
Masina began his career at Bologna and played almost 150 times for the Rossoblu before leaving to join Watford in the summer of 2018.
Despite his move away, the 26-year-old harbours hopes of turning out for the Emilian side again.
“My heart is and always has been at Bologna,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“I dream of returning and being able to wear the captain’s armband, even if now isn’t the right time. Who knows what could happen in the future.
“Now I have to think about Watford, to keep growing as a player.”
