The main sticking point appears to be the €20m price-tag Barcelona have placed on the versatile midfielder and defender.
On the other hand, La Gazzetta dello Sport are confident a deal is done for Dani Alves.
His contract includes a clause allowing him to walk away a year early if it is activated by June 5.
It’s reported Juventus will be in a position to announce Alves within a couple of days.
