Roma’s Brazilian defender Marquinhos has once more intimated that his future lies with the Giallorossi.
The recently-turned 19-year-old has been increasingly paired with a possible move to Barcelona this summer.
However, following on from denials from the club that he is neither moving nor being handed a new contract to deter any reputed interest, the youngster has taken to Twitter.

“At this time it is difficult to find the words,” Marquinhos posted on his official account, 48 hours on from Roma’s Coppa Italia Final defeat to Lazio.
“We are the first to question things when we do not achieve the results, but I am honoured to wear the jersey of Roma…the best is yet to come.”
Roma signed Marquinhos just last summer from Corinthians.
