Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello confirms Beppe Marotta is ‘welcome’ but warns ‘nothing can be said until there’s a signature’.

Marotta seems increasingly likely to become Inter’s new general manager, despite his Juventus past, and Antonello expressed cautious optimism over the 61-year-old’s arrival.

“Marotta to Inter? Like we’ve always said, our project is one of growth,” he told Il Sole 24.

Marotta seems increasingly likely to become Inter’s new general manager, despite his Juventus past, and Antonello expressed cautious optimism over the 61-year-old’s arrival.

“Marotta to Inter? Like we’ve always said, our project is one of growth,” he told Il Sole 24.

“Anyone who can make a contribution to help us achieve the objectives we’ve set ourselves is welcome.

“Marotta’s a great director, but at this stage we can only wait. He’s an important director and like in every business, nothing can be said until there’s a signature.”
