Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta assures Daniele Rugani’s “chance will come”.

The defender returned to the Bianconeri from Empoli this summer, but has so far made just one cameo appearance for the club.

“We’re extremely pleased [with him],” Marotta assured Radio Sportiva.

“He has champions in his position though, it’s hard to force his way in. But he embodies the spirit of this club, a sense of belonging, playing in the Champions League.

Striker Alvaro Morata has been given scant opportunities as a starter for the Old Lady, but Marotta assures there’s no problem with the 23-year-old.

“At this time Morata isn’t finding space, these are specific choices of the Coach [Max Allegri]. No-one can doubt his quality, least of all Allegri, who appreciates him.

“We have to have patience, there are a lot of competitions.”
