Juventus' Beppe Marotta says Roberto Pereyra's Watford move will be decided "in 48 hours", and doesn't rule out Simone Zaza's departure.

Both players were thought to be on the verge of leaving the club, but the striker's move to Germany appears to have collapsed and Pereyra is yet to sign with the Hornets.

“He [Zaza] was involved in a negotiation, in the end both sides made their assessments and it didn’t result in the definition of this sale," Marotta confirmed at Villar Perosa.

“He remains in our squad, we evaluated our opportunities with him as we’ll do in the coming days if other offers are presented.

“Roberto Pereyra? We’ve had a lot of offers for him, the player liked one of those which was Watford, belonging the Pozzo family who the lad knows well.

“I think this negation will come to a conclusion one way or the other in the next 48 hours.

“[Mario] Lemina is a welcome confirmation, high-level teams asked for him but he’s an important element for us, a great prospect in whom we strongly believe.

“Alongside him I’d like to emphasise the return after recent physical problems of a player like [Kwadwo] Asamoah who will be very important.”
