This morning La Stampa, Corriere dello Sport and Corriere della Sera are all reporting that Malago and Under-Secretary for Sport Giancarlo Giorgetti are pushing Juve’s general manager Marotta.

While the role does interest Marotta in principle, he would prefer to run at a later date and would want to feel broad support from the lower leagues and players before making a move.

In addition, the FIGC President receives a salary of €36,000 per year, much less than Marotta earns with Juve.
