Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta says a contract renewal for Patrice Evra ‘depends more on him than us.’
The France international’s current deal expires at the end of the season and an extension is yet to be agreed, but Marotta has put a decision in his hands.
“Evra’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season and let’s say the renewal depends more on his intentions than ours,” he said to Mediaset Premium.

“The fact we wanted to put together a young player like Alex Sandro with an experienced figure like Evra shows we are planning ahead.”
