Rumours have been growing in the past 24 hours that the Colombian will return to the Bianconeri on loan, having spent last season in Turin.

“I believe our work is 95 per cent done on the transfer market,” Marotta told reporters at the annual Villar Perosa friendly between Juventus' A and B teams.

“We’re looking for a central midfielder. It’s not easy right now to get the right profile, it isn’t easy to improve a team like ours.

“Some names? That doesn’t seem right, they’re players from other teams but we’ll definitely be attentive to everything.

“Marcelo Brozovic of Inter? I can say no. On the other hand Cuadrado is a player who would be welcome, he conducted himself very well with us.

“We have to assess Chelsea’s position, if an opportunity arises whereby we can bring him back to us then we’ll be there.”
