Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta is close to joining Inter, according to multiple sources.

The 61-year-old was also CEO, but is being removed from the Bianconeri board and will leave that position on Thursday.

While he is still under contract as general manager, it’s assumed that his contract will be mutually terminated and Marotta will be allowed to move on.

According to this morning’s Corriere dello Sport his next stop is likely to be Inter, where he’ll take up a similar role.
