Udinese sporting director Pierpaolo Marino ensures the Friulani will replace Rodrigo De Paul and won’t miss Juan Musso.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper has replaced Juan Musso, who joined Atalanta on a permanent €20m move.
“Silvestri has delivered consistent performances in Serie A, so we won’t miss Musso too much,” Marino told Radio Marte.
“I’m pleased to have him in Udine, but it was a luxury to keep both De Paul and Musso at Udine for so many years.
“We have many ideas to replace De Paul, who was a key player for us last season.
“Without him, we’ll have to change our playing style, but we’ll try to bring in a solid replacement.”
De Paul has joined Atletico Madrid on a permanent €35m deal.
