Salernitana have officially signed Norway international defender Stefan Strandberg on a free transfer from Ural Ekaterinburg.
He turns 31 on Sunday and was a free agent after his contract with the Russian side expired.
Serie A newcomers Salernitana signed him to a one-year contract with automatic renewal to June 2023 if they remain in the top flight.
Strandberg is a central defender with 17 senior Norway caps to his name, scoring one goal.
His previous clubs include Trapani, Krasnodar, Hanover 96 and Rosenborg.
