Pasquale de Caro, the father of Manchester City assistant coach Enzo Maresca, has been found following his brief disappearance on the night of the Champions League final.

De Caro joined his son for the trip to Istanbul and was in attendance at the Ataturk Stadium for the Champions League final, where the Cityzens edged out a 1-0 win over Inter to lift the trophy and secure the second ever Treble in English football history.

For Maresca, what was supposed to be a night of celebrations became a short nightmare after his father disappeared. Turkish police were quickly contacted and Manchester City took to social media to try and help resolve the situation.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Maresca’s father De Caro has now been found, allowing the pair to truly enjoy their historic European triumph in Istanbul.

Maresca has been part of Pep Guardiola’s staff at Manchester City since June of last year, replacing Juanma Lillo.
