Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio will reportedly earn around €6m per season in Russia after joining Zenit St Petersburg.

The Italian international terminated his contract with the Old Lady by mutual consent this summer, having been a Juve player since the age of seven.

Yesterday it was officially confirmed that he’ll continue his career in Russia, and Il Bianconero purports to reveal some of the financial details of the deal.

Marchisio is set to earn €6-6.5m per season, with a series of bonuses linked to games played.
