Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio believes Lazio’s crisis will make them even more dangerous on Friday.

The Bianconeri travel to Rome to face Stefano Pioli’s side, who failed to win a Serie A game in the month of November.

“It’s always a difficult match, beyond the periods a team can go through in the season,” Marchisio told JTV.

“In fact, when going through less positive periods like Lazio are, you should always worry. Especially when you have a chance to make up for it with a game like this against Juventus.

“In fact, when going through less positive periods like Lazio are, you should always worry. Especially when you have a chance to make up for it with a game like this against Juventus.

“So we know we’re definitely preparing for a difficult game. We have two days more to work and recover, we’re preparing well because we want to keep doing what we’re doing.”

There are a lot of new faces in Turin this season after a summer of change, and Marchisio praises the new arrivals.

“They knew they were joining a group which had been together for four years and who were coming off a Champions League final.

“So with great results and great results at the European level, there was great availability from all of them, great lads.

“There wasn’t one in particular, they all made themselves available immediately, because we went straight from a Supercoppa win in China, with great enthusiasm straight to a period of real difficulty which could have have left us in the lurch.

“Not just in terms of results, but especially in terms of the dressing room and the team. Instead there was a great response, particularly in the dressing room.”
