"It's one-off game, we take on a team that has done well and we will have to be attentive to bring this trophy home,” the midfielder told Tuttomercatoweb.

"We must not underestimate anyone. Milan, Inter and Genoa proved this: when there is no concentration we are at risk against everyone.

"The goal is to win, the strength of the group is this, we want to close 2016 with another trophy."

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi had joked that Serie A 'must change all the referees to stop Juve'. What does Marchisio think about this?

"Berlusconi's words? It was just a joke, I think about training and then I only talk about what’s on the pitch.

"For me it was a bittersweet year, I could win a third trophy but in the middle of it I had a serious injury.

"[Gonzalo] Higuain? He is a winner, he has found great desire in a group that always wants to win."
