The Sardinians have really found their groove in recent weeks, with a winning streak culminating in a shock 1-0 result away to Napoli on Wednesday.

“I think enthusiasm is always healthy and I have no need to rain on anyone’s parade. If the team continues to work like this, then enthusiasm is our fuel,” said Maran in his Press conference.

“I am glad that now more people are starting to have the same belief in this squad that I do. I am ambitious and ambition must be encouraged every day.

“At the same time, we need to acknowledge that Hellas Verona did not get the results they deserved and are the side who hit the woodwork the most times this season. They are tough to play against and that should just motivate us further.”

Radja Nainggolan is back in the squad, but probably not fit enough to play from the start, while Paolo Faragò, Leonardo Pavoletti and Alessio Cragno are long-term absentees.
