“We are still getting to know each other and every match can help us to grow, improve our status and confidence,” said the Coach in a Press conference.
“Lazio have a very clear identity and worked under the same Coach for several years now, so that certainly shows. We’ve had a very tough fixture list to start the season and we mustn’t let the results interrupt our process, as we’re still laying the foundations. All we can do right now is give our best.
“We will make some changes, as is inevitable with three games in one week, with players like Cristian Zapata or Lasse Schone who have been really carrying the team. We have 13-15 first choice players.
“What we do need is to rely on our style of football during difficult moments and realise that is the only way forward.”
Domenico Criscito is in the squad, but has some sciatica issues, while Edoardo Goldaniga and Stefano Sturaro are out of action.
