Andrea Mandorlini is in buoyant mood ahead of Verona’s clash against Lazio, as he explains the process to bouncing back from two consecutive defeats.

The Butei host the Aquile on Thursday night at the Stadio Bentegodi after conceding six goals last weekend in Naples.

Whilst that followed defeat at home to Milan, their Coach seems to have the perfect recipe to do well tomorrow.

“We are facing a team with lots of qualities and mentally at the moment they have wind in their sails,” Mandorlini began in today’s Press conference.

“ In fact, they are one of the beast teams in the League right now. They are not drawing, but either winning or losing so let’s hope it happens the second thing tomorrow.

“We have to avoid committing the same mistakes again and again because in the last few games we haven’t played up to our standards.

“The best defence is in defending well as a team. We need to do that better, in addition to avoiding individual mistakes, which we have done less well in recent games.

“Rafa Marquez will be back in the starting XI, then in midfield I’ve got four players for three spots.

“We just need to stay tighter, that’s all. Because Milan and Napoli managed to score easily past us.

“Obviously I think that there were some problems mentally because teams have changed their approach against us.

“Given that now we have lost two games, it feels like we are at the end of our tether, but we have lost a game and will lose again, just as we will win other games.”
