Premier League side City are looking to offload the 27-year-old Argentine international after he fell out with Coach Mancini for allegedly refusing to come off the bench during a Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

The club fined and suspended the player, whilst he has since failed to return from exile in Argentina.

His agent Kia Joorabchian was photographed having dinner with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani on Monday evening and reports indicate that further talks between the Rossoneri and Tevez’ representative will happen on Tuesday.

It is understood that the Italian champions are keen on negotiating an initial six-month loan deal for the striker who was City’s top scorer in 2009-10 and 2010-11.

Speaking ahead of his side’s return leg with German side Bayern in the Champions League, Mancini was asked once again of the latest developments surrounding the former Corinthians forward.

Whilst denying knowledge of any potential deal, Mancini did admit that Italy would represent a good move for him.

“I do not know what the situation is with Carlos at the moment. I think it is important for us to sell him. We can do it for him and for the club. If he has the chance to go to Italy, I’d be happy for him.”
