Former Inter Coach Roberto Mancini is one of the candidates for the West Ham United job if Slaven Bilic is sacked.

While the Hammers reached the cusp of Europa League qualification, missing out in the preliminary round, they have struggled so far this season.

They sit one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League after a last-gasp defeat to London rivals Tottenham.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham are considering the axe for Bilic and see Mancini as the prime candidate to take over.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham are considering the axe for Bilic and see Mancini as the prime candidate to take over.

Their other targets, including Rudi Garcia and Rafa Benitez, have just taken jobs elsewhere.

It is hoped that bringing in an Italian Coach could help summer signing Simone Zaza to settle into the Premier League.

Mancini has suggested he’s interested in returning to England, where he won the title with Manchester City, and was recently touted for the England job.
