La Stampa details Juventus’ interest in Manchester City centre back Aymeric Laporte, highlighting how he tops the club’s wish list for this summer.

The Bianconeri have started to think seriously about their summer transfer plans following the arrival of new sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who secured his exit from Napoli last week.

The Old Lady are planning to overhaul their backline and only Danilo and Federico Gatti are considered unsellable, pushing them to start thinking of their preferred reinforcements.

As reported by La Stampa via Calciomercato.com, Juventus are seriously interested in picking up Manchester City’s Laporte this summer, putting him at the top of their transfer target list.

The 29-year-old Spaniard has slipped down Pep Guardiola’s pecking order in the Northwest of England, making just 12 Premier League appearances last season.

The Cityzens are now working on a move for RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol and would be willing to listen to offers for Laporte.

Juventus are considering offering a loan deal with a buy option attached and could open talks with Manchester City in the coming days.
