The Gazzetta dello Sport claims United are offering €40m (£28.85m) to Roma plus wages worth €4m per season (£2.8m).

The midfielder is already in negotiations with Roma to extend his contract, improving the current €1.8m per season salary to €2.5m plus performance-related bonuses.

However, Nainggolan is still co-owned by Cagliari, so the Sardinians would get €20m out of the deal.

Considering the excellent rapport between these clubs, it’s no surprise that the Giallorossi see Nainggolan’s heir coming from the Stadio Sant’Elia in the form of Godfred Donsah.
