Manchester United have been charged by UEFA after two pitch invasions during their Champions League game with Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the focus of both incidents at Old Trafford last night.

The first fan ran across the pitch to reach Ronaldo shortly after kick-off and the Juve player shook his hand just before he was dragged away by police.

Another two fans tried to get to Ronaldo after the final whistle and on this occasion he took a quick selfie with them.

There will be a hearing for the UEFA disciplinary proceedings on November 22.

However, Manchester United have avoided further punishment for arriving late to Old Trafford and subsequently delaying the kick-off.

This is the second time the team buses have been caught in traffic on a Champions League night, as Manchester United were fined €15,000 for the same issue against Valencia.
