Massimo Zanetti, the owner of the Segafredo coffee company, bought a majority stake in Bologna towards the tail end of last week.
It hopefully brings to an end the financial turmoil surrounding the club, which resulted in a one-point penalty after a failure to pay taxes on wages.

"Bologna had need of a person like this," Malesani explained. "Teams that do something important always have a certain kind of President behind them.
"We must applaud those who have managed to save Bologna not with words, but with facts."
Malesani also had a word of thanks for Sergio Porcedda, the previous owner who is public enemy No 1 among Bologna supporters.
A coffin with his name on it was sinisterly left at the club's training ground at the weekend, leaving no one under any illusion whatsoever as to the level of antipathy towards the Sardinian businessman.
"I believe that in the end our old President was clever to sell the club to the right person," he concluded.
