Genoa are reportedly on the verge of announcing the arrival of former Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic.
The 29-year-old left the Partenopei when his contract expired in June, having spent four years in Naples.
He joined Napoli from Torino in July 2017 and spent six months on loan with Spartak Moscow during his time with the Azzurri.
The centre-back was not offered a new deal at the Stadio Diego Maradona and seems set to join Genoa as a free agent this month.
