Douglas Maicon admits Inter “don't know what the problem is, but the injuries are not the only thing to blame.”

The Nerazzurri are in crisis and lost their last two outings against Lazio and Werder Bremen.

“We don't know what the problem is, but the injuries are not the only thing to blame,” the right-back told Sky Sport Italia.

“We hope to have some players back soon and personally I am working towards the semi-final, but it's too easy to say our negative streak is entirely down to injuries.”

The team set off for Abu Dhabi this evening for the Club World Cup and President Massimo Moratti blasted Coach Rafa Benitez and his side for ‘betraying' him.

“Moratti is right to say what he thinks, but the team must be aware of its strength,” added Maicon.

“I am convinced we'll be able to win the trophy and put in good performances.”
