Christian Maggio is “just a few details away” from signing a new contract with Serie A and Champions League outfit Napoli.
The Italian international has been in talks with the Azzurri since the summer over an extension and a positive conclusion is on the horizon.
“We are very near to concluding a deal,” agent Massimo Briaschi told Radio CRC on Friday afternoon.

“We are very near to concluding a deal,” agent Massimo Briaschi told Radio CRC on Friday afternoon.
“The desire to renew is there from both sides and we are just a few details away from reaching an agreement.
“I met with club officials from Napoli last week and I’m convinced that a deal will be signed very soon.”
Maggio, a right wing-back, is presently tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until the summer of 2013. His new terms should stretch to 2016.
The former Vicenza and Fiorentina man joined Napoli in 2008 from Sampdoria in a deal reportedly worth €8m.
