However, in an interview with Tutto Napoli, Massimo Briaschi said that the full back wants to extend his time with the Partenopei and that the signs are that the club wishes him to do the same.

“The future? I don’t know, it depends what the Coach decides,” the agent commented. “Let’s say that the first signs are good.
“Christian would be happy to stay at Napoli, but they knew that already.
“I think this year it will be ten years since his arrival. He is an adopted Neapolitan. I am 70 per cent sure he will stay.
“Alternative options are there, that isn’t the problem. His desire is to remain at Napoli, we are waiting for what the club wants.”
