Sky Sport Italia expect Romelu Lukaku to have his Chelsea medical tomorrow, after Inter reportedly accepted a fee worth €115m cash (£97.5m).

Multiple sources including Sportitalia – who first broke the story that the Champions League holders were prepared to break the bank for Lukaku – are confident a deal was done yesterday for €115m.

This is a pure cash sum, so without bonuses or a player included as part of the exchange.

Inter will play a friendly match against Parma at the Stadio Tardini this evening at 18.00 UK time.

Hakan Calhanoglu is out injured with a slight muscular problem, while Lukaku is not expected to feature due to the imminent transfer.

It will be the first time Inter are wearing their away kit for the 2021-22 campaign, white with a blue and black snake along the side.

Inter signed Lukaku from Manchester United in 2019 for €74m plus €4m in performance-related bonuses, so are selling at a considerable profit.

It’s believed they will replace him with Roma striker Edin Dzeko and another forward, the first choice being Duvan Zapata of Atalanta.
