Romelu Lukaku is currently training on an atoll in the Seychelles, working to be ready for his return to the Inter squad.

The 29-year-old Nerazzurri striker was widely criticised following Belgium’s World Cup elimination, with the player missing four clear chances in their final group game against Croatia. It’s not been a positive season for Lukaku, who has only played a handful of minutes since August due to a hamstring injury.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku is currently in the Seychelles, training on an atoll with Johan Gerets, a trainer from the Belgian national team and close confidant of the 29-year-old striker.

He will return to the Lombardy capital on Friday and will return to the Inter set-up on Saturday, working to prepare for the second half of the season.

Lukaku has scored two goals and provided one assist this season for Inter, missing 16 games across all competitions through injury.
