Romelu Lukaku continues to rediscover his joy at Inter by joking with teammates and denying he was nutmegged. ‘Some things never change!’

The striker desperately wanted to return to San Siro on loan only a year after his €113m transfer to Chelsea and said repeatedly it was to be part of this family atmosphere.

He confirmed it again with an Instagram post about today’s training session, where he was put in the middle and urged to block the passes, roundly mocked after a nutmeg from Roberto Gagliardini.

This is very similar to an incident that happened during his previous Inter stint, prompting Lukaku to comment “some things never change.”

Gagliardini is not buying the denials of the nutmeg, though.

  1. He should stay in Italy. It’s the only place he has really succeeded. Inter can pay Chelsea 70 million pounds next year, and cut our losses and move to someone that actually has a first touch.

  2. Every Lukaku hater will see… This Belgium mashine will smash everyone in the League! Like 2020/21!
